Radio 614 Audio Stream Ends Sept 28, 2024

Radio 614 will stop broadcasting on September 28, 2024. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit and internet presence will exist for at least another year. Our efforts going forward will be directed to community radio projects WCRS and WGRN here in Columbus, Ohio. We thank everyone who has contributed money and time to our project over the past nine years. As we’ve said before, this is not the end but a new beginning.

Most of our remaining programs have already migrated to WCRS. Here’s the schedule:

rekloos presents: BASS KULTURE, Sundays 12:00 p.m.
The Ear Opener, Tuesdays 8:00 p.m.
Human Interviews, Wednesdays 11:00 p.m.
Virtual Vortex, Thursdays 9:00 p.m.
Yesterday’s Wine, Saturdays 2:00 p.m.
BeaTreats, Saturdays 7:00 p.m.

A big thanks to everyone who contributed to us, especially our monthly donors. Anytime we asked for help, our listeners were there. We encourage you to continue to support local community radio, either WCRS, WGRN or both. Give them some money but also give them your voice. When you hear folks say, “Radio is dead in this town…I don’t even turn on my car radio anymore,” tell them about 91.9, 92.7 and 98.3. Let them know that they can not only listen but participate in the creation of this media. We are still here to help make that happen.
